To quote the reputation problems thread:

When reporting your reputation you give the Forum Administrators the right to check through your reputation and remove ANY pointless reputation, good or bad and delete it from your total. Please remember this before using this thread.

Not exactly a new rule, other Reputation Editors just didn't enforce it as much as I do. I only go through the last month of reputation though, it would be unfair of me to go through reputation from any further back.

But most of the rep that has been removed ( good ) has been comments from my rooms?

When I run through reputation for a user I look at every corresponding post and often go into researching whether it was revenge rep or even returned rep, takes quite some time but it ensures a thorough job. The reputation I removed from your account was reputation that was being returned, reputation from other users that are just spreading it around so that they can rep a different user again, reputation that had a comment that had no relevance at all to the post or thread it was issued in or reputation that's just got quotes like 'helping you get to x amount of rep power'.
There is not a chance that I removed anything given to you because of a room you've posted, of all people I know how deserving rep is for an excellent room design.

Also, thanks for not raising your arms up in the air and throwing a tantrum, it is definitely appreciated.
