You want to run Windows programs, yep? You'll need to install a copy of Windows on your machine, in that case. Relatively painless to do. You have two main options. I believe OS X 10.5 (Leopard, which your new MacBook should be running on) comes with Boot Camp. Basically, it'll set space aside for Windows to be installed on your machine. All you need is the Windows disc, and you're good to go. When you boot your Mac, you can hold the SHIFT key, and it will give you the option to boot into either Windows or OS X. Check the info on Apple's site here.
A second option is a little pricey, but it'd be the one I'd take. Parallels allows you to run Windows inside OS X, and vice versa. Example: You're working on a document, and need to grab something from a Microsoft Word document. You can launch Parallels, which will open Windows (just in a window, you're really still in OS X). You can open the document, and transfer anything from the Windows window to OS X! Trouble is, this uses a fair bit of RAM, but if you're on a brand new MacBook, it shouldn't be a problem![]()
Get Parrallels. But, why do you want to run windows on it. I prefure Mac OSX ALOT more.
Lol with your £3000 quid
That's fast delivery, what- 2 days??
So apparently the money was put into your account, which was then used to buy a macbook, then the order had to be processed, has been shipped and you now have it?
