    All you've got a few outerglows and a gradient. I mean come on design company layouts are suppost to show what you can do, not that you can make a layout in a minute.

    First design looked better, the arrows don't look very professional, + the layouts just seemed to go better on the right instead of under the main content.

    Ok, I was just trying out his ideas.

    & I agree on the design part as this layout is pretty simple and I always say a portfolio is somewhere to showcase your talent and skills, I guess the above layout doesn't show them very well.
