You can't do it without a sheild.. can you? If so I'm gonna re do it. It'll make the game harder!

Well you need a shield to learn the shield attack and one of the other special moves, but you don't HAVE to learn them anyway. Unless there are some monsters or bosses that can only be killed by the shield attack. I dunno...
