    Okay, can someone tell me what the effect of this photo is called?
    (The continuous lights on the road from the cars) I can't think of the name...

    Long exposure? When you take a photo with a long exposure that car headlights create a continious light. I think that's what it is called.

    To be honest, I thought they were called "Slow shutter speed" photos or something along those lines.

    that one was probably computer generated, they probably all are as if it wasn't the whole picture would be blurred because there would be more change in light than just the car headlamps.

    Not if the camera was completely which could be achieved on a tripod. And the camera was a very good one.. im talking dslr's
