Snake Rock campers Janice and Lynne come to blows as news breaks of Malcolm’s desertion.

In another part of the plush Versace hotel, the world’s first self-confessed supermodel Janice, PR guru Lynne, actress Gemma, and former 5ive hunk J awaited their fates.

This time it was Dec who popped in on the Snake Rock group to explain the twist to this year’s show. And at first, Janice thought he was the fifth contestant!

“Oh you’re a presenter – sorry,” she sighed, having quizzed the “hottie” about his Newcastle background.

“I have a couple of bits of very big news for you,” Dec continued. “There was supposed to be five of you in this group. Unfortunately your fifth member, Malcolm McLaren has decided not to join you.”

The depleted group recoiled in gasps, Janice and Lynne huffing and puffing in disbelief. “He’s not coming - leaving Snake Rock at a serious disadvantage,” Dec continued. “He’s in another part of this hotel refusing to come and meet you.”

As the group gaped in shock, Lynne decided that as Malcolm’s friend, she should confront him in the hotel and persuade him to change his mind. Which Janice didn’t like one bit.

“You don’t want me as an enemy,” she declared. “It’s my idea.” And after Lynne’s disapproval and Dec’s suggestion that they both have a go, the two outraged ladies marched to Malcolm’s hotel room, with similar results.

“He slammed the door in my face,” Janice growled. “We don’t need him.”

“I think a lot of it is fear,” an equally unsuccessful Lynne sighed. “It seems an awful long way to come.”

But Janice was unimpressed and certainly in no mood to sympathise. “He wants the miles,” she declared. “I’m very disappointed.”
