1. go to your local hardware store and buy an axe
2. go out into the woods, pick a tree that you like, and start swinging the axe against the tree trunk (sharp end of course, not handle...) so that you eventually cut the tree, shortly before it falls down you shout "timber!"... oh yeah, make sure it doesn't fall on you
