More than 20 people are feared dead after a bridge collapsed in Bangladesh under the weight of hungry cyclone victims stampeding toward a relief centre.

People evacuated from cyclone

At least 100 people were injured in the incident.
Three people have been confirmed dead, police said.
But another 20 are missing in the river in Patuakhali district, one of the areas hardest hit by Tropical Cyclone Sidr.

The battered bridge in Kalapara village gave way under a crowd of people, who rushed forward as lorries carrying food supplies arrived.
They are victims of the country's deadliest cyclone in 16 years.
Cyclone Sidr killed around 3,500 people and left thousands missing or injured.
Some two million people were evacuated from their homes.
