Lashing still happens? Lmao that is so 2000 years ago! I knew that part of the world hadn't progressed than much in the past 2000 years, but that's absolutely ridiculous. 40?! That's a hell of a punishment, especially for a woman. Mind you I wouldn't fancy spending 6 months in a Sudanese jail, the conditions would be awful, lack of food, bullying and rape would probably all go on. So my choice would be the fine for them obvious reasons, but sadly you wouldn't get a choice? :S
