hi, protein does work for muscle gain. i will explain,
when you lift weights and train your muscles slightly rip and require protein to repair and increase in size. the more muscle you have on your body, the more calories your body uses up within a day. so if the rest of your diet stays the same as it usually is then you should add more muscle and lose some body fat.

i didnt type that by the way

    found it on yahoo xx

Helps build up the old muscle, tend to be used when in some sort of training. Alot of boxers bring them.

    Hope that helps.

What's funny Fit.Boy01 ZFU Seasons? Simple question. What's funny is that others could answer in more detail than yourself...

Default A Lvl biology here ;)

basically they help in respiriate and transcription nd translation in your mRNA.

But they don't really help tbh. Best thing to have is 5 a day & water instead of them drinks.

They amount of rubbish they put in it outweighs the protein bonuse in the drinks tbh

I take protien shakes. It's basicaly a powder called wheya which you add with water. Though in my opinion having alot of skinned milk is better for you as it has calcium and high vitamin b 12.
Protien repairs damaged cells and is used for growth [in muscles etc]

They come in powder and you normally add milk and you can get them if defferent flavours (strawberry, vanilla etc.) and it just build up your muscles and give you a tad more energy. They can be high in calories which is why boxers etc use them, as they need like 5000 calories a day.

    Er, hope this helped
