The golden compass *Spoilers*

Ok Northern lights is my favirote book ever and the film was stunning but what the hell went on with the ending??? In the books the bridge between worlds opens and roger dies yet in the film they sail off to Asriel who is going to open the bridge. If you look at the trailers of the film it even shows the bridge being opened. I think its stupid because they 'sail off into the sunset' which is really boring but opening the Bridge leaves it on a cliffhanger for the next film. Ah well the film was awesome, im going to a special viewing in Oxford on sunday where you watch the film and then he does a talk about it, if he asks for questions ill be sure to ask him then.

a game? its gonna be crap i bet.
i loved the books, but i cant see how they're gonna make the third one, maybe the second, work without including religion into the plot. (if you read on www.imdb.com, the writers/director has announced that they're will be no religious aspects in the films)
guess we'll have to wait and see.

i saw it earlier, i really thought it was crap.
i didnt like how they changed the whole Iorek-Iofur (i think thats how it's spelt) story, i liked that little bit.
i really hope they dont mutilate the other two films.

At this phillip pullman thing I went to someone asked why religion wasnt included and he said Nicole Kidman refused to be in the film if it was anti catholic as she herself is catholic and he has personally asked for her to play Mrs Coulter. I asked why the ending was changed its because an American viewing panel before hand said ending on a downer was too bad and Roger dieing may have bought the film rating up.
