I usually don't come on this forum to ask about things to do with my "personal life"

For the first time.. in along time I am in love. Not teenage crush.. love.

I am in love with my best friend.

This girl is amazing.. everytime I look at her.. I can't resist a smile.. even when I am in the deepest of sorrow she can get me smiling.

I am with her daily.. and not one day goes by tat I do not smile, and she brings just joy to my heart.

I have told her my feelings.. and I believe she feels sort of the same way..

her response:

I don't want to take a chance at hurting you, because I know you care about me so much. It means so much to me that you care the way you do. I don't want to mess it up, and I don't want you to take the risk at hurting like I have over ones I care about.

Is it sincere? Or it it just a fancy way of saying.. yeah you love me.. lets just be friends forever.

It really has me down/confused...

anyone else been in this kind of "confusion"?

mate I think she treasures very much the friendship ur both having.Come to think of it.If u two become lovers and then spilt up.Things might ended badly.So shes not risking her friendship.Maybe too she only adores u as her very gd mate.My sister is in the same situation too.Her best mate loves her but she cant like him more than just a gd friend.Well yeah but who knows she could fall for you My advice : Don;t mess things up good luck
