Can you download it and buy membersihp or do you need discs still?

I heard the download is for the trial only. And I used to play and thinking about rejoining and getting it on my laptop.

Any idea what specs I need?

I have 1GB of memory and graphics is Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950, and I'm running vista. Thanks.

Well I prefere to have the disks so if it goes wrong I can easily reinstall it.
But no you dont. Aslong as the account is activated you should have no problem. When you get the disks you do get 30 days free.

You don't need the discs to install the game, but you need to buy the game with discs for the authentication key so you can play past the 10 day free trial.

With 1 gig you should be fine, I'm alright with 512mb apart from major cities and settlements.

I play on a 512 mb mac mini (rofl) but the little guy pumps out decent grahpics & a nice resolution. Yeah, SW and (sometimes) IF lag a bit but heck, its only quick. Shatt is nasty with 512 mb ram but playable after its all loaded.

Discs needed for key but thats been said just confirming.

EDIT: Patches... what internet connection do you have? How fast? Depending on speed it could take anywhere between 3 hours and 24hrs. Hopefully you aren't the latter
