I'm a male, I have hair thats not very long, but long-ish.
And I quite fancy some straighteners. What do you recommend?

    Depends on the brand.

I've had Babyliss, Remmington and Braun ones so far. Getting GHDs for christmas.

Babyliss ones sucked. Just flattened my hair didn't straighten it.

Remmington ones straightened my hair but they weren't that great. Didn't relaly last long and fried my hair to much. ALthough saying that my friends got some (from wet to dry ones) which work great. Only problem is they're huge and really do fry your hair.

Braun ones are great, but not as good as GHD. They make it have hte nice finish GHD does but it doesn't last as long. Although the ones I've got are kinda old and the newer versions are waaaaaaay better.
