Default The ratio of boys to girls

In ICT classes..I was the only girl out of the 11 people in my GCSE ICT group, (and 1 of 2 girls in my GCSE Systems & Contol group, which I can understand)
and now in college i'm 1 of 2 girls and they're 10 guys.

I don't understand why ICT is male dominated

    Anyone else experienced this?

Suppose it's a general stereotype. You'll find more females in classes like health, social and hairdressing, yet more males in ICT and construction.

Its like forums really, more lads than girls, I can't really see a stereo type really as professions to do with ICT are mixed

More girls than boys in my ICT group but then again you don't choose to do it... You get picked to do it as an extra-curricular thingy

In my psychology class there are 3 boys and 7 girls , and even last year there was only 6 boys and 10 girls, so theres always been a low ratio of boys to girls in psychology class, which is quite funny at times, cause were really insane and weird in those lesson
