Default [THE BIG WEEKLY QUESTION] Best Of The Rest '07 - Xmas No.1

Oh hi. I've been busy all week beating Portal a gazillion times and pwning people on TF2 (I'm in the top 40 now). Half-Life 2 is quite boring but the story and horror elements are awesome.

Anyway. it's nearly Christmas and I already have Uncharted in my stocking ready for me to unwrap. So what will be this year's Christmas No.1 game...

Call Of Duty 4 Modern Warfare

Without a doubt this could be GoTY 2007 with a addictive and fun multiplayer mixed with a heart stopping single-player. It's a sure contender for Xmas

    Formats : PS3, 360, PC, DS

    Half-Life 2 - The Orange Box

Probably the deal of the century, the saga of the greatest FPS of all time along with a mind bending puzzler and fun mulitplayer makes this a steal for your stocking.

    Formats : PC, 360, PS3

    Assassin's Creed

Okay, so it was overhyped and was repititive and boring. But because of the hype and anticipation it'll still be under a lot of people's trees this year

    Formats: 360, PS3, PC (2008)

    Uncharted : Drake's Fortune

The most beutifal game on a home console so far, the whole story and tomb raider gameplay mixes into the perfect mince pie

    Formats : PS3

Ratchet And Clank Future : Tools Of Destruction

The most iconic pair of platforming return with a slice of visuals that please everyone, time to get your Groovitron out

    Formats : PS3

    Lair

Overhyped and overpriced, the only thing that carries this is the thousands of fans saying ''OMG IT WIL B WEL GUD"

    Formats : PS3

    Halo 3

It was average to me , but the multiplayer made it a 'MUST BUY', released quite a while before Christmas but still close enough Master Chief could be under many trees this year.

    Formats : 360, PC (2009)

    Mass Effect

I heard that it has the best visuals for a 360 game so far... probably not but it still has great RPG gameplay.

    Formats : 360 , PC (?)

    BioShock

Released in August and still king of '07, I can't believe that people still don't have this.

    Formats 360, PC

    Super Mario Galaxy

In my words it is the sequal to Super Mario 64, which is the best platformer of all time. Expect a galaxy to unwrap.

    Formats : Wii, DS (Rumoured)

Mario And Sonic At The Olympic Games

Good party fun for when your grandma has had too much whisky and the Wii is still plugged in. Good fun alone too if your a lonley Clause.

    Formats : Wii, DS

Super Mario Galaxy without a doubt. Although I haven't played some of them games, doubt my opinion would change anyway.
