Default £500m revamp plan for Longbridge

Up to 10,000 jobs could be created and 1,400 homes and a shopping centre built to renovate part of Birmingham affected when a car plant closed down.

About 6,000 workers lost their jobs in Longbridge when MG Rover collapsed in April 2005.
Now a total of £500m could be spent if the 15-year plan goes ahead.
Government ministers have already outlined plans for a £20m innovation centre in the area which will make up part of that redevelopment. The plans are being developed by Birmingham City Council, Worcestershire County Council and Bromsgrove Council.

Thats goood Birmingham is a nice city to leave in. But not very updated if u know what i mean.

The difference is, that under the last ten years Liverpool's crime has decreased whilst Birmingham has become the new Liverpool because of Immigrants which bring crime, this is through no fault of yor own.

I live on the outskirts of London, and Liverpool is a place I like to call hell.

I've never been there but your accents make me want to shoot myself.

But your probably all very nice people

I wouldn't trust Government statistics thank you very much, and yes Liverpool has bad areas, doesn't matter anyway as i'm leaving this hell hole of a country when i'm older :8

You are taking offence when it is not needed, soem parts of London are extremley nice and probably some of the best places to live in, I am talking about London as a whole. I know your trying to make me upset about the comments on Liverpool but I am not one bit bothered, as I have said before this country on a whole is getting very bad and i'm leaving, and yeah I don't like the Liverpool accent either.
