[Part 1] Scripting Boom!

Heres a short story I wrote, out of basic boredom and prompted by the amazing scripting boom recently...

The Scripting Boom

Scripting has always been around, since the beginning of Habbo, people have always had the tools and knowledge to enhance their games. Recently, scripting has been getting out of hand. Krews have sprung up everywhere, and it won't take long till you come across a room that has been exploited.

Scripting is starting to become common knowledge with websites offering the programs, the know how and the filters. Habbo is struggling to cope. We recently witnessed someone exploiting the 'Habbo Fansite Drop-in' room owned by Callie. pH boxes where all over the scene, resembling the words h4660. This was a serverside script, this means everyone can see it.

In the past serverside filters and scripts where rather easy to obtain however, now habbo seemed to have patched the majority, leaving scripters with only a few Clientside filters. It has been rumoured that the Habbo encryption has been exploited, if so this would result in the almost immediate closure of Habbo Hotel for a few days.

The question a foot is how to stop it? With scripters getting clever and clever they are pushing the Sulake techies. Who constantly have to come up with patches for:

- Winhex Packet Editor
- Havvoc
- Eightys

A few of the now, widly available programs.

How far will the scripters go? Why are they prepared to go such extremely lenghts? Only they know the answers...
When it's all over, where will it leave Habbo?
