But if it means that we're getting people such as Dom in the trading forums shamelessly advertising HHGS and criticising the Habbox system in all/most of his posts i'd rather a one site system. Competition never hurt anyone but i think you can see where Habbox stands on this by their actions, they do not feel the need to go on to HHGS and advertise their system as 'the better alternative'.

Props to everyone who set up the HHGS system, it's good to have two options to turn to. Just don't let it get tarnished by people who refuse to be open minded and slate Habbox at every oppurtunity in order to promote their new values site. It certainly didn't happen when vodor tried to rival Habbox, so why should it now?

I know its a bit ridiculous posting a whole thread about it, the irony being i'm complaining about HHGS spamming the rares forum when i'm doing it myself. I'd just rather like to see the 'Anything about Trading and Furni' forum not turn into the 'Anything about Trading, Furni and HHGS'. And in all honesty i'm pretty miffed that i keep seeing posts that abuse Habbox and signatures which do the same (i'm okay with the HHGS adverts in signatures). In all fairness though, theres no point getting to the level of mud slinging.

If Dom feels the values aren't updated enough on Habbox he can say that, Dom is a HHGS user not staff, otherwise we would clamp down as I don't want a 'war' in all honesty. However I will retaliate to people like chickenman who want a big arguement with no real conclusion. Most of you have taken HHGS fine, Immenseman, Ymo and so on

Yeah, i'm all for competition but of course people are going to be immature about it and have to try and insult or score points over the other site to impress someone from the site they support. Nobody wants that but they can't help individuals actions.

In no way have ANY HHGS users / staff been told to post or spam Habboxforum thats not what i want thats just a cheap shot realy
We have asked for them to use a sig or a avvys but thats about it

I work for habbox and I have no hatred for HHGS. They do advertise a lot on habbo, which can be annoying, but then again, doesn't everyone advertise for their site? You just don't see any "Habbox.com for Rare Values" because we don't need to, as we know we are already known. And I wouldn't be suprised if the "HHGS.net for better values" start disapearing, as HHGS are becoming a very popular site for habbo. I also don't mind about the advertisements they make on their signatures on this Forum. But if they began making thread advertisements, I wouldn't be too pleased. And anyway, I always like a bit of competition

I only know 1 person who's actually spamming the forum with HHGS. Thats Dom. It's just immature and childish.
I don't care about the competition between HHGS and Habbox because in my mind Habbox has nothing to worry about.
I'd wish people would stop ranting about HHGS and Habbox.

Habbox will always be more used I think.
But It's nice to have other sites to go to and have a look at there values.
