My xbox broke my game

My simpsons game has broke, it says its unreadable, and when I took it out of my xbox it has perfect circle scratches round it.

Has anybody elses xbox done this before?
What should I do about it, I dont want to take my xbox back as it has 12 months xbox live on it

Yeah. My RV:Vegas and Gears of War broke. The disk split, big crack from the centre of the disc to the outside. And if you take your xbox back, You keep the hard drive so you wont lose your profile with the membership on it.

Common problem, I think if you google about it Microsoft will repair the console and issue you a new game?

Membership's stored online, hence the 'recover account' feature.

Give them a call on the hotline and go through the appropriate channels if you really want it sorting. I've tried E-mailing them on two different subjects and been ignored, though on my second call to them I haven't received the best of service (We'll call you back within 48 hours... It's been over a week now) the first time I had everything sorted by them within 10 minutes. Worth a go to at least try to get your games back, since no shop's going to be able to help you out. Especially considering the phone line's free.

the shop iwll not do anything when i was waiting in q is saw a guy talking tothem about it and they jsut said its a lazer burn we can do nothing about it sorry the guy was ragin

Did you drop your xbox while the game was running?
If so that's your problem. A few of my games have a circle
going round all the rims I don't know if that's on all games, it's
weird. Good luck getting it fixed .

my 360 scratches all ma games, but i jus go and get em un-scratched from gamestation bruv

You must of moved the 360 whilst you were playing it, my 360 is standing upright and only 1 of my 12discs it has trouble reading.
