Default Trade Differences. (Last updated: 2/1/2008)

On the 2nd of January 2008, Jagex removed the unbalanced trade system whereby you can not offer more then a certain ammount difference in a trade.

If someone offers you an item worth 3.5k according to Jagex, You can not offer less than 500 gp or more then 6500 gp.

The only way to offer more/less is to increas the ammount of quest points you have. Below is a table of the difference in margin you may offer depending on your quest points.

Jagex have also practically removed any other form of real world trading, meaning that it is no longer possible to buy/sell habbo for Runescape or Vice Versa at the current prices.

This does not mean that you can not trade habbo for runescape or Vice Versa in this section, as i'm sure there will still be a way to do it or if the prices do suddenly decrease to 30k but It is just a reminder for people who do not read the updates as such and do not know what the price change is.

I hope this thread will stop alot of pointless threads being created in the future.

Thanks for reading and happy Scaping
