Help with XBL

Okay this is hopefully as little confusion as i can give

Red = Downstairs
Blue = My Room (My Xbox room)


MODEM is connected

Wireless ADAPTER for NETGEAR is connected, ETHERNET CABLE is connect to back of COMPUTER.
I test XBL and it says IP Address, what can i do?

Start > Control Panel > Network Connections > Right click the wireless connection > Goto properties > Goto advanced > Tick Allow other user to connect through this connection. Do this for the other also.
