I wanted a dog, but wasn't allowed one, so we got 2 cats instead, now i was just wondering if having both would be possible. I don't want my cats going and runnning away!

It's better if the dogs and cats grow up with each other or are young when they meet so they don't fight. My friend has a dogs and a cat and they don't cause any problems.
With my dog, if she sees a cat, she tries to chase after them and if she can't, she gets really upset.Last edited by Agesilaus; 13-01-2008 at 11:50 AM.

It's just as possible as a boy and a girl getting along. My moms friend had a rotweiller and a cat and they got along fine. I guess it's all about how the dog is raised really. Usually when dogs are puppies and there are cats around they'll be fine together.

Yes it is possible. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats + 3 kittens
and they all get along. Even when its cold you might find them all huggled up in the basket together ;]

Yep, my cat and dog got along fine.
My cat used to give my dog a slap if he annoyed him lmao..
But yeah, we had my cat first and they were fine.
my dogs a westie too..
when my cat died, my dog was sad.. in some way.Previous Roles
