    Default Moc GCSE Math Result

When I did my MOC GCSE I passed everything except Maths. Only one person passed Maths in Year 11 and she only got a C.

I did the higher Tier and got an E. I had no calculator and the paper was 75% calculator. All my friends had Es as well and the smartst girl in my class got a D

I re-sat the Math paper but took the foundation (easier) paper. I got a D which is pretty good out of all the others.

I kept this grade from my dad since before christmas and I still havent told him.

I've got parents evening Wednesday and Reports next week (Dont know what day). My math teacher isnt going to mention my grade in Parents evening but it will be in my report.

Knowing my dad he will ask for my grade then she will have to tell him but I want to be the one to tell him I failed.

Only problem is... I cant do it

    Im scared of his reaction.

He either makes me feel guilty or make me feel scared as he will start shouting.

    What do I do?

Im really desperate here and need some help!

If ive forgotten anything Ill post it

Well, if your dad confronts you about the grade then just tell him what you've told us. eg.
"Only one person passed Maths in Year 11 and she only got a C." and "All my friends had Es as well and the smartst girl in my class got a D"

    No, don't say that.

When my dad found out I got an E in my science mocks ages ago I said everyone else got an E aswell and he was like I don't care about anyone else.

A D isnt that bad, only one grade off of passing, and they're only the mocks. Just tell him that you'll revise harder for the real thing and make sure you pass. All you can do in exams is try your best and parents should understand that.

If you can't speak to your parents about your results, who can you tell?
