Thumbs up I Am Legend [May contain spoilers!]

    Hey,

Did anyone watch this movie? What did you think of it?

I enjoyed the movie although near the middle of it I thought to myself "wow I am watching a movie that is being acted by one person..". I wasn't too pleased with the ending, it seemed far too rushed.

It's an OK film, I hated the ending. There apparantly might be a sequal to it. I mean, what the?!! I haven't read the book but I have a feeling the film has ruined it.

Ya, the movie was sick but dumb when Will Smith killed himself, he coulda thrown the bomb and went into that little thing where the other two went in.. so ya, that movie was pretty good other than the ending...and wow throughout the hole movie I was like determined when that girl said god sent her to go to that safe camp..somthing was wrong that she was a bad one..but I guess not.

Youd have thought at the end they would have showed how they tried to get everything bk to normal.

Yeah think the ending was rushed a bit, why didn't he throw the bomb out and hide in the hole with the others?

Wanna know why the ending sucked? It was completely different to the ending of the book, the books ending tied things up but was pretty confusing, it was a brilliant ending in the book.

I thought the film and the concept of the film was really good however the ending was unexpected. I enjoyed the whole film and I enjoyed the plot but the end happened all at once. The film was going really fast then just hit a brick wall so to speak, the ending wasn't very good really but I though the same when I watched War of the worlds ages ago. Basically on the whole it was a great film but I would have prefered a slightly better ending. I'd definitely recommend people to go and see it, it is worth it even with the dodgy ending.

Also if they do make a sequel I think that would be a mistake. I really dislike it when a great film is created and then it is dragged through over and over again creating numerous sequels, it ruins the first one. Once something good is done, you shouldn't try to make another version in my opinion unless there is a need for it. Take something like Pirates of the Caribbean for example, I did like the first one but I feel as they kept making them they got worse and worse and kind of beat it to death a little, it destroys the first one from being a classic or a great movie really. Some films require sequels and some sequels are actually quite good but I think you have to be really careful when making them and to be quite honest I don't think I am legend would need a sequel or make a good sequel in all honesty.
