    I've always wanted to make a website though last time I tried learning coding I failed and gave up, it seems to complicated.

    Can anyone help me work my way up from the basics, very basics

    w3schools is a great site with loads of tutorials on loads of coding languages.
    The link above is basic HTML in which I think most people, including myself, learn(t) first.

    I use Notepad for HTML/CSS and when I'm coding PHP I use Zend.

    i use dreamweaver. it can help you along really well.

    the only thing i struggle on is making codes work on every screen. if anyone could help me id be greatful lol
