Personally i prefer the Xbox 360. If you prefer the Playstation 3 to the Xbox 360 and possibly the Ninendo wii, really you have made your decison... get a Playstation 3. If you think the console is too expensive look for a 2nd hand one or a trade in from GAMESTATION or such.

At this point in time all the PS3 is any good for is a cheap blu-ray player and unless you have HDTV thhat's useless aswell, if you have a HDTV then go for it but if not wait or get a 360 because no decent games are out for PS3 yet (apart from Motorstorm and Rachet and Clank)

It is worth it but that is just my opinion.

It's worth it for the long run. Some aamzing new features this year, cheapest blu-ray player on the market, good exclusives this year.

If I got one It'd probably only be for Blu-Ray.
