    Default sword in off hand

    is there any way i can get a sword in off hand?

    i need a dagger in main hand as im a rogue

    Yeah, Just drag them both over, Presss "c" and switch them.

    Unless your sword is main hand only.

    I could get a Cruel Barb in Off Hand and I was a hunter. I needed to learn Duel Weild though. I think Rogues can Dual Weild from Level 1? .

    Rogues can duel weild at 8 if im right, or might be 10, not too sure but have you learnt the sword skill from 'Woo Ping' in the shop oppersit the AH in Stormwind? That might be why you cant equip it.
    To put it in your off hand you have to open your charater sheet (Press 'c') and then drag the sword into the offhand box, the one with the picture of a sheild in it. :]

    i couldnt equip it in off hand is because it was main hand only

    Theres bound to be lots and lots of offhand swords, Check the AH, Or get the Atlas addon, and look at some dungeons your level and go through the loot tables
