[COD4] Make your own maps?!

Hey,

Just seen this in the "Message of the Day" on COD4, Now I thought that this was pretty awesome BUT it seems there are a few drawbacks.

The maps should be designed around the platform of your choice (PC, Xbox 360, PS3) Well yeah, Thats good but you must have the PC version of the game to actually make maps.

The maps can only be played on the PC version at the moment (I presume they might add some cool player maps) and basically its a bit crap if you don't have the PC version.

Wow, nice touch from infinity ward. Unreal tournament 3 has done this since launch have even implemented the feature to play these mods on the PS3 version.

They may come up with a way for 360 and PS3 users to do the same, you never know

They have released mod tools for every pc cod game but i think on the ps3 and xbox 360 the maps have to be shown to infinity ward to get added i'm not sure. I got the PC version because i knew there were going to be mods and custom maps.
