My friend told me to try spiderman, this is what it looks like so far i was wondering what could i improve on before i add the scales or w.e there called?

Yeah im adding the black stuff i just wanted to see if it looked okay so far because i didnt want to take my time doing the black stuff then find out i chose the wrong colors
