I can't imagine many people in the UK do, but someone I know who lives in West Sussex got a shotgun for his birthday and he's like 13, so it can't be that uncommon.

Guns aren't just for 'gang warz' in South London or for shooting people in Nottingham. They can be used for clay pigeon shooting or any type of bird shooting.
