Okay so I've taken what you all said and tried the re-design. What do you all think?

Thats just what I've come up with, with peoples feedback.

Touch up the logo, make it more interesting.

Remove the box from around it / or lower it's opacity.

Still don't like it, you're over doing the photoshop styles. The places you use them are things such as text and icons. You don't use them for content boxes or layout objects.

Thanks. But the only places I have used the styles are:
Logo.
Box behind logo.
Content boxes (WHICH) I shouldn't have, should have just filled it with grey. Wanted to sprinkle it up a bit more

Lol, stop with the fx, use photoshop fx for things like logos.. don't use it for.. things ;S
