    Default Footie problem :S

Will, i try to kick the ball high and curl it, everytime i try to do that it only gets a bit off the ground and just goes straight. I hit with the side of my foot and still doesnt work. And sometimes when i do hit the ball high and curl it, it has no power. Any tips?

I know you may not want to tell me but it depends how old you are. Not saying you cant kick if your a 13 year old, im saying some players arent developed enough for a kick like you stated.

Anyways tips: (Im a midfielder and im 16)
    • Visualise the kick and curl
    • Relax and breathe
    • Lean back but not too much
    • Try to hit the ball inside but the the side (look at picture)
    • Dont get an enormous runup
    • Take a step, then a little skip then strike
    • Lean the opposite way, say you want to kick it right, lean left before you take it then as you strike lift your right arm and away!

If your still stuck, either watch some videos, or, i could make you a video. The only reason why i say i can is because i help my little brother take them and he is 13.

It would be a good idea to get a friend or someone who you can just kick the ball to and they'll return it, just like a quick kickabout so you can practise. Practise makes perfect!

I normally kick the ball on the bottom right bit, just under the ball and for me it'll curl like a ***** into the top left corner, and when I kick it on the left side it'll go to the right, well good yh?

I could never do that either..

But now o play football everyday on a little pitch playing end to end and i have near enough perfected it.
My crosses, corners and free kicks are awesome now

    Not exactly Beckham but still.......

Kick it where the pic above indicated and as long as you keep practising eventual you will have it down to a T
