I got a message on my laptop pop up about sharing the media on my computer. I didn't know what it was referring to, but I allowed it anyway. That was a few hours ago, now I just went on my PS3 and it's got Windows Media in a box for Photos, Video and Music. It's picked up my Pictures, Music and Video folders on my laptop and I can view them all on my TV with the PS3, so I can have my own wallpapers and such. I've never had this happen before, and my laptops always near the PS3, I didn't know that the PS3 could wirelessly pick up computers!?

If they're on the same wireless / wired network, and you have Windows Media Player or things like TVERSITY, then yeah, your PS3 can pick it up and stream it over the network

I've got it going on mine... its' useful
