Rant about "coming soon" MMOCC's.

It's really, really, REALLY irritating to come onto the forum to see thread after thread of: "I'M OPENING A NEW MMOCC WOOOOOO!!!". It's always the same thing on every thread:

"It's for x type of market, it's free, but you can buy bonus's for x Club and x Credits"

The really annoying thing is that it will most likely not make it. Okay, yes, fair play to some MMOCC's that actually have a decent client and fanbase; ie. BittyBay, but it's more then likely that you'll either give up, or not have the money, or realise that people won't code a whole client for nothing.

If you STILL are failing to see my point, you should realise that SO many people are trying to make games and MMOCCs like Habbo - ie. there are three new "MMOCCs" - I found all those on page one of the projects forum.

It's getting so stupid that people are doing competitions such as:

THINK OF AN MMOCC NAME AND WIN VIP

Now, to be honest, if you was being totally serious about the project, I don't think you'd be giving out Habbox VIP in return for a name. Okay, fair play, there are some MMOCC's that may just break into the market - but the one's that are being "promised" so much aren't appearing,

There's lots more, but I can't really think of the names - i'm too tired! But the point is:

Please, please, PLEASE stop inventing these stupid MMOCC's for the sake of it. It most likely wont work, you probably wont make any money and it more then likely will be a epic fail.

Itsmyland has a client and its excellent and I was suprised when I entered it.

Bloody hell, I couldn't give a toss, it's the fact that total moronic MMOCCs start up with 12 year old owners who think they can run it from their bedroom.

Well Im not 12 but I think I have most definatly proved you can run MMOCCs out of your bedroom. I have created clients for 3 seperate MMOCCs.
