in css you can use borders, or border left eg for a class or id or whateveror even a pseudo class to think

As stated above you can use the css border attribute but for instance it won't work on plain text to go around the shape of each letter.... sample usage below:
Code:<div style="border:solid 1px black;">Content Here</div>
