Biggest monitor size to put up with?

Whats the biggest monitor size you should have to put up with, right now my bg is 2000 wide is that going to work?

Where I work, I have a 32" monitor, thats about the biggest I have worked with.

I have a couple of 19" LCD's sitting side by side at home

I have sat infront of a 40" monitor. I was blind after I left the room.

You could have a 100" TV monitor as your TV, and it look like crap, because of it's resolution.

Is a 2000px wide ok considering resolution then? I have 1440 x 900. I'm getting another this weekend

No, he mean is an image 2000px wide, as a background big enough so that people wont see it repeat.

Well I've got 2720 x 1024 but thats two 19" dualscreen, so basicly if I put the site on 1 screen its 1280 x 1024

So I guesse a 2000px would do fine

Yeh It's as a bg, I can't wait till I get my second monitor tonight how do I plug em in I know my computers capable something about two VGA or DVI ports I think ;S
