Bioshock 2 Officially Announced

For some weird reason when Habbox decided to update last night while I posted this thread it only posted the topic name and the rest of the thread was empty so here is the actual post

2K Games said today that BioShock 2, the sequel to the wholly owned and internally developed title, is being developed by 2K Marin and is planned for release in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2009. The critically acclaimed BioShock title has sold over 2 million units worldwide since its launch in August.

Q4 09 I believe is Feb till the end of March but I don't remember, if you don't understand Fiscal years then the game will be released early 2010 , should be a good purchase if the first game was anything to go by but not all sequels do to well so we'll see, I'll definitly be picking this one up and I know alot of you will too

Awesome, awesome news. I was convinced they wouldn't make a second, glad i'm wrong. Will be interesting to see which route they take with the second.

I think multiplayer would ruin one of the things that makes Bioshock different from most other FPS games, I hope they expand a bit more on the RPG element of the game would be much more fun then

I know it was a defining characteristic about it but it just lacked something that gave it replayability.

Perhaps a bit more DLC would've caused me to keep playing , I wonder if they're keeping it in rapture aswell.

Yea more DLC will probably keep people playing it or a longer game in general
I don't think it'll be in rapture, I think it'll be somewhere else, Rapture would cause people to lose interest quickly
