i think im holding it correctly and i try to but still dont work

Always keep your hands up near your face so it's blocking, then just continiously jab your opponent in the face with one of your hands but remember to keep blocking with the other hand. Do fast jabs and always return you hand back to the blocking position so the other person doesn't really have any time to react, but if they do you'll be blocking anyway. Flurry every now and then, when your opponents guard is down and the time is right. Thats what I always do and I've never lost at boxing.
