Default why cant more people be like him?

well i was just sat in my rare shop today when my friend on msn nudged me and told me somebody was in the shop, i looked and noticed he had put 3hc in the trade box and ticked.. i ticked and said, "what is this for?" and he simply replied "i quit this game a long time ago and remembered i had some stuff left so i decided to give it away as i have no use for it anymore." what i want to know is why cant more people be kind like him instead of being self-centered?

People are greedy, and in love with their Habbo furniture.

I gave away all my spare rares which was about 15 HC since I have no use for them anymore and whenever I get a HC gift I give that away.

I kept all the furni in my theme rooms though, because I worked hard on them and everyone can enjoy them anyway.

More people are like him than you might think. It's just the majority of Habbo are obsessed.

Many users don't give it away because they want to be very 'rich' etc... I think eventually I'll end up stopping completely and go around giving things for free.

However, I hardly play, so I give a lot to my brothers for free.

Because the majority of users on Habbo see every day use as a rat race, trying to be more superior than other players and in the process turning the youth into self centered people.

Sadly, it's this mind set that Habbo uses to make its money.
Don't bother giving me + or - rep as I simply don't give a dam...?
    Cheers

i've gave away loads of stuff in the past cos i'm dead nicelike that and i just don't rly give a toss about habbo. it just rly pisses me off when you give someone something then they don't even bother to say thanks. like yesterday this girl was in my room asking people for furniture, so i gave her a bath and she just walked out without saying anything

I've gave things away before because I really didn't care and it was a nice thing to do. But, I guess some people are obessed with having furni and being shown as rich because of that amount they have they don't want to give it away for free.
