Thread: PATHETIC

    Default PATHETIC

I find it absolutely outrageous that i'm not allowed to say '*****' but a forum member is allowed to post and leave comments on threads with this name(his username = *****)? they say its offensive to other members when i say it? well i feel 100% offended by that persons name who posts a lot on here, so what are you going to be doing about that HxF?

    That rule really is stupid.

you are allowed to say ***** aren't you?
I’ll be a story in your head, but that’s okay, because we’re all stories in the end. Just make it a good one, eh? Because it was, you know. It was the best. A daft old man who stole a magic box and ran away. Did I ever tell you that I stole it? Well, I borrowed it. I always meant to take it back. Oh, that box, Amy, you’ll dream about that box. It’ll never leave you. Big and little at the same time. Brand-new and ancient and the bluest blue ever. And the times we had, eh? Would had…Never had. In your dreams, they’ll still be there. The Doctor and Amy Pond and the days that never came.

Who says you're not allowed to say *****? You're allowed to say it as long as it isnt intended as an insult towards someone else.

I dont know, he might be but having the name "*****" is allowed and saying '*****' is allowed as long as its NOT aimed at anyone or used as abuse.

Actually, you're mistaken. Yes, you're allowed to say ***** but you can't use it against people. For example, "I feel like such a *****" would be deemed acceptable and "You are such a *****" would be deemed unacceptable. Now I know what you're thinking, that if it can be deemed as offensive so easily then why is it unfiltered at all? Take into consideration, before you ask that, that you can be infracted/warned for calling someone an idiot. ***** is fine, you just need to use it in the correct context.

The word was unfiltered because people were complaining that the filter was too strict; so Habbox gave in and unfiltered piss and ***** because they are deemed as very mild swear words. It only takes one or two immature members constantly abusing these words for them to be re-added to the filter. Basically, think about how you're post will be perceived before you use it and you won't have any problems
