getting new hard drive tomorrow hopefully lol
i have 2 hard drives in now
so if i slap windows xp onto ma new one
and put 1 at a time my old ones in aswell as new
can i easily copy the files (music,pics) to new one

Yes, if you are putting them in at the same time, set the 2nd to slave.
