    Default against poverty bands

    It has been reported that oxfam bought their beat poverty bands off a chinese company who use slave labour (people working for less than £1 a day) to create them, next time they should pay more attention to their sources to prevent this embarracement

    I think it works both ways.

    Yes, it is sad (if it is true) that the bands were made using slave labour.

    But

    The money raised from the bands goes to a worthwhile cause to help stop poverty.
