Default I need a bit of help

So basically, I'm using here as a last resort.
One of my friends have basically self harmed and has told me about it.
I'm trying to be comforting, but to be honest, I'm crap at it
So basically, I need some ideas on what to say.

    Default O.o

The best thing you can do really is tell someone, she might be your friend but if she was your true friend she would understand why you did it. If you just sit back and watch it happen she might resort with much more pain everytime she gets stressed.

    Hope that helps x
