    I remember reading somewhere about video memory affecting the amount of ram that home premium recognises as in you have 512mb of video memory and 4gb of ram installed but vista only recognises 3.5gb...

    So i finally have enough money for more memory (yayness) but i was wondering since i have 1024mb of video memory will that mean home premium will only recognise up to 3gb of ram?

    If it is the x86 version of Home Premium then the max of RAM + video memory is 4GB.
