    Default gOS Help! [+2REP]

I saw a thread about gOS this morning and downloaded it, but i dont know how to install it. I want to keep windows xp on my computer but have gOS aswell. The file i downloaded had a iso file in and a .md5 file in. Could someone tell me how to make a partition and then how to install gOS.

    +Rep for all help

    Thanks,

Okay, get a program that will burn ISO files first, google for one, Nero, Alcohol etc...

Then you will need to split your partition that XP is on, make sure you have enough free space on the harddrive and goto Control Panel > Admin Tools > Computer Management > Storage or something, right click the partition XP is installed on and click "Split" split it to the size you want. When its finished (it may take a while) you will be left with either unformatted space or NTFS/FAT space, either way, put the gOS disk in, reboot and run the installer, MAKING SURE THAT YOU SELECT THE BLANK PARTITION TO INSTALL TOO!!

Thanks! +Rep, also my drive at the moment is all in 1 partion and the files are spread all over it, if i tried to split it, would it damage the files on it?

I've tried it on VMWare before, it requires some special drivers and editing to make the mouse work properly. Google it.
