It is said to be a 'cult' film...
Set in the Vietnam War.
Beginning of the film is set in the Army Camp. There is a guy not very good at well.. anything and he ends up shooting himself and the drill sergeant.
Then all go off to war.
I can't really remember any more.
I watched it about a year ago and want to watch it again.
