Internet?

I just tried to get online for my Wii and I used everything from run > cmd > ipconfig and it doesn't work at all. It keeps saying please read the manual? Is there a switch that's ment to be on or something? I've forgot. I've recently got back into Wii and it's been kept away for like 6 months so any help would be good thanks. I really wanna play WiFi on Brawl and Mario Kart :rolleyes:

Have you even got a wireless router, and wireless internet?

Because I've never heard of anyone having to enter those commands.
