Hello there,
After going to my uncles today, he said his computer was not working correctly. I checked it out, and there is some strange happenings. When he connects his external HDD up, and searches for files, the 'Data Execution Protection' comes in, and closes all Window Explorers. When he tries to click 'Email' on his Start Menu, IE pops up, the computer beeps and then IE freezes up.
Clearly something is not right, and we can't fiqure out what it is. If you guys could give us some advice on how to cure the problem, and what the problem is that would be great.

Might be a problem with the HDD.. you could take it back to the store for a replacement.
Or has it worked in the past?

He has had the computer for around 2 years.
