Use a XP recovery disc to upgrade my windows 98 computer to XP?

(got old pc back but havnt changed os, just new parts)

no, because i think the XP recovery disk uses the XP backup files to reset the computer. and the backup files are on the computer not the disk

i might be able to find something. but i wont because the fact is, its illegal, stupid (im not calling you stupid.) and dangerous.

its a stupid thing to do because you cant update or anything. if you get a virus and you dont have anything to protect against your in trouble. and if your caught your in ALOT of trouble.

its dangerous also because you dont know whats in the files and you may even install it wrong.

The Product key will be oem and locked to your laptops os. as "already used"

i don't think there is a way of "upgrading" from 98 to xp
just get a xp disk ether through buying it (quite low priced at the momment) or through a keygen
